Description
This wasn't going to be the next thing I did, but last night there was a film I wanted to watch, but I knew I wasn't going to be able to sit for two hours with my hands doing nothing, so I searched my sketchbook for ideas and found the design for a water elemental I did the other day. During the course of the movie, I did the pencil work, and I coloured the thing this afternoon. The anatomy is pretty out of whack, but I'm still happy with the overall look of the thing.

I think adding more contrast (through the help of darker shadows and brighter highlights) would help this "pop" more.
More of a background element would help as well.
